With our in-depth understanding of the experiences of SEND students and their families, we are now expanding our offer to support other children, young people, and families in the local community.
The Parent/Carer Offer Programme is a support service for the parents and carers of students at Manor Green College. It has been developed in response to our parent/carer surveys and has a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing at its core. Its design, consisting of a distinctive four categorised approach allows parents/carers to gain support from both internal and external experts on variety of topics.
We understand that it is not always possible for parents/carers to make it to the face-to-face presentations, therefore where presentations have taken place, these have been filmed and the presentation slides uploaded for you to access on this page. With that said, we would always encourage an in-person attendance as this provides you the valuable opportunity to have a Q&A and meet any other parents/carers in a similar position to yourselves.
The Parent/Carer Offer Programme is led by Laura Keaney, Assistant Headteacher and Grahame Beattie, Assistant Headteacher who are both happy to answer any questions you may have and hear any of your valuable feedback.
